About Faerima

Faerima, a lifelong artist and dancer, began her belly dance journey at the age of 14 in her home town of Purcellville, VA. Under the tutelage of her first teacher Sandra, she gained a love of the art form and went on to dance throughout college as Vice President of Hill and Veil, the local belly dance troupe of Virginia Tech. She also served as assistant for the Tiraz Dance Network. For the past several years, she has been studying with Katayoun at Mosaique in Sterling. She has also attended several workshops with well-known dancers such as Aziza, Lisa Zahiya, Belladonna Boheme, Issam Houshan, Princess Farhana, Amustela, Gerson and many more. She has performed at countless venues including haflas, festivals, and restaurants as well as private parties and has taught beginner belly dance as well as workshops for belly dance strength training.
